Beach of a Day!

Today was an incredibly beautiful day and SdC and I decided to take advantage of it by escaping the confines of our rooms and taking his car up to the beach areas of Great Yarmouth and Hemsby. As he has been a Norwich/Norfolk resident all his life, he had pretty much grown up going to these vacation spots and was pretty handy in showing me around. Unfortunately for me, who until today have never been to either of these places, 99.9% of the shops were closed. These towns are pretty much your typical tourist/summer vacation destinations and are heavily dependent on visitors to generate their income, so they’re usually the busiest in the summer seasons. It’s a shame that they didn’t open up more shops today as it was such a beautiful spring-is-coming type day!

On the flip side, I was able to take some amazing photos that were untainted by human presence!

I had such a brilliant day! I’m so glad SdC called up to skip town for a little while because work has been such a drainer lately and it was so nice to finally be able to bask in the sun! It has definitely been too long since I have been able to do that and it has me SUPER excited for spring/summer to finally arrive! Many tentative beach plans have already been made :) …On that note though, it’s back to reality and hitting the books for me!

  1. Beautiful shots! Nice job, young lady!

  2. Hi Dini!

The photo of the architecture has such nice contrast! I enjoy how the adjacent buildings are different colors! Hemsby beach is also very breathtaking, and you took some great photos that showcased its beauty! I’m glad you were able to take such a relaxing break in nature! What a perfect way to let loose even if for a brief moment. Haven’t seen you around lately! I miss you~!

Quote Box

"The unreal is more powerful than the real. Because nothing is as perfect as you can imagine it. Because its only intangible ideas, concepts, beliefs, fantasies that last. Stone crumbles. Wood rots. People, well, they die. But things as fragile as a thought, a dream, a legend, they can go on and on. If you can change the way people think. The way they see themselves. The way they see the world. You can change the way people live their lives. That's the only lasting thing you can create."
